Do you use chat boxes, comment boxes, or forums when roleplaying?

We use chat boxes. And while they can be annoying at times–refusing to load posts, double posting, and running old posts off–on a site as active as this one, comment boxes are near impossible to roleplay with. When roleplaying with comment boxes in an active roleplay session, a person must continually refresh the page to load new posts, and this becomes very tedious very fast.
