Does a digital recorder need a microphone?
It depends on what kind of recorder you buy. I just bought one that I use to record from a live band. It doesn’t need a microphone. There is a more expensive one where it had built in inserts to add microphones to it. You don’t really need an extra one. Ok the model you have should be ok to record without a microphone.
