Does a practitioner always have to ask permission in order to give Reiki?

0

As a general rule, a practitioner should ask permission before a healing session. A practitioner does not have to ask permission to give Reiki when that person is not able to give their consent. Exceptions include, but are not limited to: accidents, coma, severe mental illnesses, and inability to communicate. Use your common sense in judging each particular situation. In all these case, the practitioner cannot charge for the service.
