The American Tutors Online policy is to not require up-front diagnostic tests. We have found that in most cases our Education Directors and Tutors can diagnose the student’s deficiency without the need for diagnostic tests – either by observation, parent comments or comments from the student’s teachers or counselor. If the Tutor does administer a diagnostic test fees are disclosed and reasonable.
