Does an accessible website mean a text-only site?
A text–only site is not necessarily an accessible website. Users with cognitive disabilities or with learning disabilities often have difficulty with text–rich sites. For these people, a text only website is inaccessible, just as a graphics–only (without ALT) website is inaccessible to a visually impaired user with a screen reader.
