Does anybody have any really good apple dessert recipes?
Here is a recipe for a Apple-Cranberry Pudding that I really enjoy. Doc Apple Cranberry Pudding 16-24 Servings Ingredients Cooking Apples 4 lbs Brown Sugar 8 oz. Ground Cinnamon 2-4 tsp Dried Cranberries 4 cups Apple Juice ½ cup Butter or Margarine 1 lb, softened Sugar 1 lb Eggs 8 beaten Ground Almonds 1 lb 1. Preheat oven to 350* F. 2. Peel, quarter, core, and slice apples 3. Put them in a sauce pan with the brown sugar, cinnamon, cranberries, and apple juice bring to a boil and simmer for 1 to 2 minutes. 4. Pour this mixture into a greased ovenproof dish, 3 inches deep, 9 inch diameter9 the dish needs to be deep to avoid fruit bubbling out during baking.) 5. Cream the butter until light and fluffy 6. Add the beaten eggs a little at the time and incorporate them well before adding more egg. 7. Fold in the ground almond. 8.
