Does anyone have a good vegan scone recipe?
I adore scones! Here is a good recipe: Ingredients (use vegan versions): 250 gr (1 cup) flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 50 gr (2oz) vegan buttery spread 3 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 cup soymilk rasins 1/2 cup water 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 tablespoon sugar Directions: Sift dry ingredients in a bowl. Add vegan buttery spread and blend. Combine water, soymilk and vanilla. Add them to the previous mixture. Stir until you get a nice dough. Extend the dough until 0,3 in (1cm) thick and cut it into shapes. Put them over an ungreased baking sheet. Cook them for 20 minutes approximately at 170 ºC (340º F).
