One of the most common charges leveled against those who oppose this war, and now oppose the “surge,” is that they don’t propose any alternatives. She was 100% correct on every single item. I will never forget the evening we spent at Daniel Ellsberg’s home, seeing the images from Iraq and hearing Medea’s stories about what was going on there.
