Does anyone have any writing tips?
I to would like to be an author someday so we have something in common. You don’t have to be a great writer. Everyone has their own style of writing. The important thing is to get your style which is your writing when you read it should sound exactly how you would speak it. Sounds complicated I know. I think I’m just rewording it wrong. Anyway keep a journal and try and write in it everyday, so you can improve your craft and teach yourself the discipline to write everyday. Figure out what you would like to write-short stories, novels, scripts etc. If you are not sure what you would like to write then what books do you like reading and go on from there. If you get writers block don’t feel angry or make yourself write if you know its not an idea you like, just relax and take time out.
