I have a source for you. My family owns properly on Blakely Island (a private island) in the Puget Sound. As water is at a premium, several years ago the residents looked into and approved a gray water system to water lawns, etc. so we didn’t deplete our drinking water source. Our Facility Manager, Jim Davis, was responsible for installing a system that can supply up to 160 lots (not all lots use system). He may have some very down to earth and hands on comments for you.
