Really, there is no way to predict a truly random draw but there are ways to ensure you’re getting the most chances of winning the smaller prizes for your money, for example the two tickets 1-2-3-4-5-6 and 1-2-3-4-5-7 represents fewer chances to win smaller prizes than the two tickets 1-2-3-4-5-6 and 7-8-9-10-11-12. This is because in the first example, the two tickets share many of the same three number combinations such as 1-2-3, and 1-2-4 whereas the latter two tickets cover as many three unique three number combinations as possible.
