Does anyone know how to fix a rear view mirror that has broken off?
this is a sticky problem ( or lack of it! lol) the problem is getting the area where it to be fixed completely clean as well as the backing of the mirror. use an anti septic wipe ( the ones you find in the first aid box) as this has a strong cleaning agent might be clinical alcohol, wipe the windscreen and mirror and fix the sicky pad ( brought from any spares shop) to the mirror first then take the backing paper off and stick to the glass and hold for a minute with a bit of pressure (not too much). If this fails repeat the cleaning and buy a tube of the glue mirror fix this is strong stuff like super glue but not as runny and it forms a bond to both glass and plastic.
