Does AP credit fulfill any of the required courses for dental school?
The short answer is no, and the long answer is it’s complicated. While many schools will directly say that they will not accept AP credit, sometimes it will work out where they will accept it. This is especially true when students take additional courses that deepen their understanding over and above the required courses. However, this differs from school to school. They only way to be certain is to call the admissions office and double check with them. All that being said, we reccomend playing it safe and making sure you have college credit from a university (preferably UIUC) for all prerequisites and recommended courses.
