Does BeAnywhere work with a firewall?
Ans.: Yes, BeAnywhere is compatible with all known firewalls and routers. It requires no configuration. Initial communications are through an outgoing TCP connection with a BeAnywhere central server. Because outgoing connections are considered secure, most firewalls allow them without any change to the configuration. When you install BeAnywhere, some firewalls will request permission for BeAnywhere to communicate over the Internet. You must allow this in order for the service to work.
