Does BoardDocs require high-speed Internet access to view information?
BoardDocs was designed to work over a dial-up modem connection. While the experience will be superior with high-speed Internet connectivity, board members and the public will be able to successfully view and navigate the BoardDocs system using a simple dial-up connection. Note that our newest product versions leverage technology that greatly reduces the amount of information that travels over the Internet, so they are faster and less bandwidth-intensive then ever. As with any service, however, dial-up users who upload or download large attachments should expect some slowness in their rate of data transfer.
