Does BSD have anything similar to LDP (Linux Documentation Project)?

I started with Linux years ago and was frustated with incomplete man pages and seemingly critical info scattered all over the web. It was an education in how to get the most out of your search engines. LDP went a long way to making things better but many sections have since gone unmaintained and info needs to be hunted down more again. With BSD, 95% of everything you need for docs is in the most complete man pages around and on their respective websites. Onlamp (www.onlamp.com) has many good articles and howtos and google.com/bsd is a good place to look for info too. If you can’t find the info anywhere else then I might suggest a good forum like screamingelectron.org.
