Does Career Pathways encourage students toward one particular path?
Since education is crucial to success and 12 years of school is no longer enough, all children are encouraged to pursue higher education, whether that be technical training, two- and four-year colleges, community college, business schools, trade schools or apprenticeships. Because all paths eventually lead to a career choice, Career Pathways is relevant to all students–no matter what path they choose. All of us will need to continually update our skills and knowledge to compete in our rapidly changing world. No matter what career path they choose, Pathways helps all students develop lifelong learning skills.
