Not necessarily. The rate that your hair grows doesn’t depend on the race, it depends on the person and the person’s genetics. Ive seen white people with very thin hair that doesn’t grow much and I have seen black people with very thick, long hair that grows more than average. Just because you are white doesn’t mean that you can grow hair down to your knees, and just because you are black doesn’t mean that it will take 10 years for your hair to get to your waist. The reason that you don’t see many black people with long hair is because most black women don’t know how to take care of their hair and keep it healthy, therefore, it breaks off and never gets long. Hair on a person of African decent is VERY different than a person of European decent. And most products on the market today appeal to white women’s hair more than they do on black women’s hair.
