Does Celebrity Cruise offer “freestyle” dining?
Is trademarked by Norwiegan Cruise Lines (NCL) so I would suspect you’re right — that Celebrity has assigned seating and scheduled meal times. That’s the case on most of the lines. It doesn’t mean you have to eat there and then however. If you don’t want to eat in the main dining room at the scheduled dinner time, there are plenty of other eating venues on board modern cruise ships. Most have burger bars, pizza stations, poolside food and drink, etc, not to mention that most cruise lines offer “free” room service. You will NOT go hungry on a cruise ship unless you choose to do so. Even then, good luck…. there’s so much available! I took my kids on a cruise last year. They loved the food from room service so that’s what they’d usually do. One night they ordered 6 pizzas from room service. When I got back to the stateroom, all I found was two sleeping kids and 6 empty boxes. Bon Voyage!
