Does Cerner have contingency plans if nothing unusual happens during the Y2K Event?
If a particular team of Cerner associates believes its presence is not required to deal with any extraordinary customer service needs, it can request to stand-down. The Command Center will evaluate each request based on specific and stringent criteria. For the request to stand down to receive approval, the team must have a callback plan in place, so it may quickly return to meet client needs if they arise.
