Does CIGNA pay doctors in a timely manner?

The survey is issued by Athenahealth, Inc. and Physicians Practice, a leading practice management journal for physicians. Q: Do doctors get reduced payment for services with Medicare Advantage plans? My doctor says “yes”. A: Doctors who believe they will get reduced payments are just not familiar with this plan. They need to know that it is a Private-Fee-For-Service plan and not an HMO.
