Does Colgate award credit for college-level courses that Ive taken while in high school?
Colgate will consider awarding credit for actual college courses that fit within the scope of a liberal arts curriculum and in which students have earned a grade of “C” or higher. High school cooperative programs where courses are offered in the high school or in which participants are all high school students will not be considered. Please refer to the transfer of pre-matriculation credit guidelines. Students will be required to submit a transfer of pre-matriculation credit application as well as applicable course descriptions and, in some cases, full syllabi. Departmental approval must be obtained in many cases. An official transcript from the college must also be forwarded to the Colgate Office of Admission.
