Not all airports have cash machines (ATMs). But they do have a money exchange offices. Which airport are you travelling to? That will make the difference in knowing what is there…there are many airports. There ATMs at international airports. For example, at José Martí International Airport, there’s an ATM among all the booths and kiosks on the ground floor, and another on the second floor, where departing passengers check in. As for cash machines throughout Cuba, they’re rare. A few are found in Havana…if you use your debit card at the locations where ATMs are found (which are scattered throughout Cuba), they’re not always guaranteed to work as it depends on the communications system of the day…and there may not always be sufficient cash for a large withdrawal.
