Does drinking Ouzo give the same effects as drinking Absinthe?

Originally Absinthe was made with wormwood. Slightly toxic and yes it did cause hallucinations in the long term. It is no illegal (for the most part) in almost all countries. People have even gone insane drinking (certain famous American writer who was addicted to the stuff). Ouzo, from Greece was originally made with the poppy pods that also make Heroin. However, that was banned decades ago also. By law they can’t put the poppies into it any more. Heroin is a pain killer. The effect of the two where never alike. (A little research on you part on the internet will prevent you from loosing points and getting wrong information from people who don’t know what they are talking about.
