Many oils should be refrigerated after opening–such as sesame and canola (in fact, olive oil is one of the few that doesn’t need to be refrigerated), but flaxseed should be refrigerated before opening. I don’t buy flaxseed oil from the shelf. And get it home as quickly as possible. Flax and flax oil is very fragile.
