Does having an ovarian cyst mean ill have trouble conceiving?
I have one and I was able to get pregnant no problem. An ovarian cyst does not usually affect a woman’s ability to conceive The only condition in which ovarian cysts are linked with difficulty in conceiving is polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Women who have it tend to be overweight, have excessive hair growth and suffer from irregular or inon-existant periods. No single test can diagnose the syndrome, but blood tests for hormone levels and an ultrasound scan are helpful.
If you stop ovulating with your cyst then yes you will have trouble conceiving. A cyst could make for a greater chance of miscarriage as well, but it really depends on the rest of your uterus. If you stop having periods because of it, I would ask you doctor to give you birth control or something else to help kick start your ovulation. There are medical ways to help you have a baby!
