InboxSpecialist does NOT protect you from viruses. A journalist once claimed that he does virus protecting by telling InboxSpecialist to delete every email that has an attachment. This may work for some viruses but not for all and is not a very useful solution: Here you can find a description of a virus that can even hide in an email without showing an attachment.
