Does it matter how the input variables are measured?
06-Mar-2006 For maximum accuracy, input variables should be measured in a similar fashion to the UKPDS. Specifically, HbA1c should be measured on a DCCT/UKPDS-aligned assay, total cholesterol and HDL cholesterol measured on CDC-aligned assays and blood pressure measured as the mean of three measurements taken over a few minutes.
