Does Libya have any particular ambitions for the new Africa that is taking shape?
Is not just Libya who has ambitions. We have to work together with all African countries and all African Leaders, and for that there are many plans. I think that, regarding the development of the continent, there are two tracks. First of all, there are now in the continent some urgent topics like for example to fight aids, malaria and epidemic diseases. Libya has a program with Nigeria and Cuba regarding the healthcare in Africa, through the Group of Seventy-seven plus China, and we have already started this project to bring about five hundred doctors from Cuba. Libya is going to fund this project along with Nigeria and other African countries are ready to participate, so we have this track regarding healthcare. The other track is to develop the infrastructure of the African economy because the two main enemies in Africa are epidemics and poverty.
