Does Lufthansa offer special services for children?
Yes, on many flights the children’s programme Lu’s World ensures children enjoy themselves and have fun while on board. Colouring books with coloured pencils, puzzles and card and memory games make the journey seem shorter. We also offer children’s menus for our young guests, which you can order when you book your flight or at the latest 24 hours before take-off on +49 180 58 38 486. On long flights there are special baby beds available free of charge for children up to six months of age. Please note that only a limited number of these are available. So if you are taking a baby with you, please tell us when you make your booking. You can also take your pushchair to the door of the aircraft, where a flight attendant will take care of it and hand it back to you when you land. Our tip: Please make use of our facility for checking-in the night before. This will save you from having to wait at the check-in counter and allow you to have a more relaxing time at the airport.
