Does Mansfield University have study abroad programs?
We strongly encourage students to take courses in Study Abroad programs and believe that such participation should obviously and necessarily be part of the preparation of all aspiring foreign language teachers. The many benefits of study abroad are for anyone, however. Participants not only have a better understanding of other cultures but are in a stronger position to use the knowledge they have acquired in the pursuit of their careers. To date, MU students have taken part in programs in Australia, Ecuador, France, Germany, Mexico, Spain and Russia. Mansfield University has an exchange program with Volgograd State University in Russia. Dr. Flor Blanco can answer questions about studying in Costa Rica and various other study abroad programs for Spanish students. German students are highly encouraged to participate in our exchange program between Mansfield University and the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität in Jena, Germany. For particulars about the Germany exchange, contact Dr. Bradley
