Nice try, but that raises the question of why Newt Gingrich voted FOR impeachment, when he was having an affair all along.

Actually, Congressman Souder voted to impeach Clinton on the charge of obstruction of justice and voted against the charge of perjury. So you’d probably have to actually say that he voted “for” impeachment. So it’s sort of a moot point.
