Does Nansulate® need to be thinned before applying with a sprayer?

No, Nansulate® should not be thinned with anything prior to application. It some cases a very small amount of water may be used if necessary (no more than 1/4 cup to a gallon). Thinning the coating could negatively effect any of the following: insulating ability, stability of coating in the can, adhesion and longevity, moisture or corrosion resistance, etc..
