Does prolonged use of grey water damage soil?

Care must be taken that we use cleaning products which doesn’t contain sodium based components or chlorine in large proportions. Look out for cleaning products that contain ammonia instead of chlorine. Most detergents have NP marked on them which means they are free of phosphorous. Sodium levels in your soil can be checked by having the PH of your soil tested. Normal PH level in the soil should be 7.5, anything above that can damage your soil and plants.
