Does skin bleaching work on black afro-caribbean skin?
We always have black skinned customers ask us, should I use skin bleaching or what other options is there for a black person to lighten and even out their skin tone. Our black customers commonly come to us wanting to lighten parts of their body which is darker than others. For example the elbows, knees and underarms are a particular problem area. There are common cases where one would also want to lighten their entire body and including their face. First let us tell you that Skin Bleaching is the wrong solution – and there is actually a better and safer solution. Skin bleaching can badly burn and damage your skin and we have seen case after case of people’s skin which has been damaged to an extent it cannot be repaired. So please stay away from skin bleaching products. Did you know the primary ingredient used in skin bleaching is a chemical called Hydroquinone which is actually banned in the UK and for very good reasons.
