http://www.readingsoft.com/ This first link is a test to tell wether or not you are able to speed read, test yourself and see if it is possible… I’m a slow reader so I didn’t do to well. http://www.wikihow.com/Learn-Speed-Reading This is a link to help you learn to speed read, It seems to work. I also asked my sister who reads all the time, I asked her what Speed Reading is, and she Said I Speed Read… So she taught me a little bit, but it didn’t work because I have been a really slow reader my whole life. So my Conclusion is that it is possible and it does work, but you have to read a lot and practice the tips for speed reading. How long will it take to learn? I don’t have an answer because everyone is different, for me it will take a month. hehe. Sources: Help you to learn.

There are a number of speed reading tricks that work though the claims of “1000’s of words per minute” are probably overhyped. Simple tricks take minutes to master. More difficult techniques can probably be understood immediately but take some practice to master. Using something as simple as an index card that you move down the page as you read each line can probably increase your reading speed by 25-50 words per minute. It doesn’t sound like much but, on a long text, it can really cut down your reading time. Here are tons of links from http://www.chemistrycoach.com/lbe5.htm that might help.
