Does sun control window film provide any cold winter benefits?
In the same manner that the suns heat is rejected from passing through the window glass to the interior of the room, the long range heat rays from furnaces and heaters are bounced back into the room when they come against the window film on the glass. For example, if the exterior temperature were zero degrees, the glass would be very cold, too. The cold glass would chill the heat rays coming in contact with it.
