Does the 2007 Nissan Maxima SL need premium gas?
We recently bought a new 2007 Maxima SL. The book says to use premium grade gas but the dealer said they filled it up with 87 grade gas when the car was delivered to us. A: A member of our firm would recommend that you follow the user’s manual rather than what the dealer says. Also, the window sticker may say, as well as the gas cap itself (It will say Premium Unleaded Only on the cap/in the fuel fill area if it is required).You might also try Nissan’s Web site for the answer.
