Does The Avalon Academy have Non-Public School (NPS) certification?
No, The Avalon Academy is not currently certified as a Non-Public School by the State of California. We plan to submit our application to become a certified Non-Public School in 2006. While this certification is not a pre-requisite, it will assist students who apply for funding from their local school districts. This will ease the financial burden for families whose children need the specialized services of The Avalon Academy but cannot afford these services without assistance.
