Does the CEMB accept credits from community colleges or other universities?
All non-remedial credits are transferable, as long as they were taken at a regionally accredited university or community college. A course taken at a community college that is 3000 level or higher at Belmont University will not transfer in as that particular course. Instead it will transfer in as a free elective. If a “D” is made in a course that you are transferring in, then the course will only count as a free elective as well. Please note that all credits transferred to Belmont may not specifically apply toward your graduation requirements given your program of study at Belmont. To view information regarding application requirements, tuition, aid, scholarships and financial aid, please visit the following websites: Prospective StudentsStudent Financial ServicesScholarshipsHow to Apply for Financial AidTo learn more about the admissions process, please contact the Office of Admissions at (615) 460-6785.
