Does the Citizens Advocate Office assist with Child Custody cases?
A. No. The Governor has no jurisdiction over individual court cases, including child custody. Custody decisions are made in a court of law and must be handled through the judicial process. If you have concerns about a Guardian Ad Litem, you may contact the Office of the Child Representative at 303-860-1517.
