Does the County Clerk perform marriages? / How can I schedule an appointment to be married by a Justice of the Peace/Civil Commissioner?
Depends on if either party are military personnel or not. Non-Military: The County Clerks office performs civil ceremonies on Thursdays and Fridays between 1 3:30 pm by appointment only. Each ceremony takes between 5-10 minutes and is conducted in a hearing room or in the Government Centers lobby. There is a fee for the ceremony in addition to the marriage license fee. Military personnel: (not limited to Thursdays and Fridays) For military personnel the County Clerks office will perform a ceremony by appointment but not limited to Thursdays and Fridays. Each ceremony takes between 5-10 minutes and is conducted in a hearing room or in the Government Centers lobby. It is a standard ceremony.
