Does the Deployment Cycle Support (DCS) Program apply to me as a DA Civilian?

Yes. The Army is dedicated to the safety and well-being of its Soldiers, Department of Army (DA) Civilians, and Families. Your sacrifices have not gone unnoticed. Under the Deployment Cycle Support (DCS) Directive, issued March 26, 2007, the Army is placing greater emphasis on the reconstitution of Soldiers, DA Civilians, and Families in the deployment cycle. There is a critical need for both Soldiers and DA Civilians to be provided the opportunity and a means for personal reconstitution, family reunion/reintegration, and reestablishment of personal readiness. Therefore, all DA Civilians who have deployed away from home station to a combat zone for 90 days or more will complete the DCS Program. The PDHRA has been incorporated as a mandatory task within the DCS Program.
