No not at all, you CAN in fact use the stock cables. The longer aftermarket cable we make IS THE WAY to go of course, but just re-routing the stock cables can be a less expensive way to go. The way to do it is to take the brake cable out of the loop on the front forks across the front number plate, since that loop breaks usually the first tip over anyway. The throttle cable is to be re-routed from the left side of the frame (while on your 50) to the right side of the frame. If you want a longer cable, we do offer a 3-nch longer brake and 2-inch longer throttle cable with billet carb cap (available for either the stock 13mm carb or the aftermarket 17mm one we sell). On the kill switch you can just unplug the OEM one from the stock Honda wiring harness. Most big guys when racing with their buddies try to turn the kill switch off (hence most guys DO NOT WANT a kill button) At that point the run the stock 50 key as a switch.
