Does the Ft Myers Princess have a security screening during boarding process?
Yes. Per the U.S. Coast Guard it enforces certain maritime security requirements for access control including: Screening you and/or your purse, bag or other container may be required by boarding or remaining on board. You may not board or remain on board the Fort Myers Princess unless you allow us to screen you and/or your purse, bag or other container. Note: Authority: Section 89 of Title 14 of the United States Code authorizes the Coast Guard to board vessels subject to the jurisdiction of the U.S., anytime upon the high seas and upon waters over which the United States has jurisdiction, to make inquiries, examinations, inspections, searches, seizures and arrests.
