DOES THE HOSPITAL PAY PHONE CHARGES FOR REMOTE TRANSCRIPTION?
No. Nearly all of our transcription functions (dictation retrieval and report text entry) are done over a secure Internet connection, thereby eliminating all phone costs. For clients with older, analog-based digital dictation systems, we pay our own hourly phone usage costs for time spent accessing report dictation.
