Does the Keizer Fire District charge for its services?
There is no fee for our fire and rescue services. However, the Fire District does charge for emergency ambulance calls. Charges for emergency medical services can be covered by an annual $50 FireMed ambulance subscription fee, or by a billing of up to $835.00 per call plus $12.50 per mile. All or part of this cost may be covered by your insurance program. You should check with your insurance provider to see if you are covered for emergency ambulance costs.
