Does the media influence society regarding prejudice against ethnic minorities, disabilities ?
Very much so. The media is supposed to present people with information, yet they are very biased as to what they talk about or how they go about it. They are not afraid to tell their views as well, which can have a very negative influence on people who don’t or can’t think for themselves. People have become Sheeple and until people start taking more individual responsibility, they will just follow what the popular is doing, no matter the consequence, who it hurts or the view. It’s pretty sad what media has become.
