The Google Desktop Sidebar gadgets are fully accessible anywhere on the computer screen with the simple click of the title bar. Similarly, to hide gadgets, click the gadgets button that is in the Windows Taskbar. To make the gadgets visible, click the gadgets button or press the Shift key twice in quick succession. To reload the gadgets, just drag them into the Sidebar.
