Does the softwood lumber dispute between Canada and the USA affect buying our log home that we want to have shipped to the US from Moose Mountain Log Homes Inc.?
No, the softwood lumber dispute only affects milled lumber products, I cannot speak for “milled” log homes, or other log home companies but definitely the fully handcrafted log products of Moose Mountain Log Homes Inc. is exempt from any import duty imposed by the US. In fact because of the softwood lumber dispute we have never had better inventories or better access to the highest quality big logs as we do presently!
